Class Descriptions
** All fitness levels are encouraged to join any of these classes. We all have to start our journey somewhere. At my gym there is no judgement, there is only encouragement, support, and motivation. And, YES YOU CAN do these classes**
P90X:
When I received my P90X Certification, I was so excited, I could bring to life the exercises and the workout routines that had brought me such amazing success. P90X is so versatile, modifications can be made for every excercise. I love the popular format of UMCL. It stands for Upper, Middle, Cardio, and Lower. This workout is 1 hour long and contains 5 rounds. In each round there will be an upper body exercise, a core or "middle" exercise, a cardio move, and a leg exercise. You will burn fat, increase your metabolism, and gain strength fast with these workouts.
ABS, CORE, AND MORE:
This workout is exactly what it sounds like.This workout is going to focus on everything from your butt to your shoulders, front, back, and all around. If you want to give your mid section a workout it deserves, you won’t want to miss this one. You also might not want anyone to make you laugh the next day. LOL
INSANITY:
I recently received my Insanity Certification and boy is this a great workout. This is an intense cardio respiratory workout. With that said, this is also an easily modifiable workout as well. It is either a 30 or 50 min class that is specifically designed to make your body change in amazing ways. Just when you think you have used all your energy on this workout, you dig deep and you get it done, and believe me the way you feel after finishing this workout, you are going to want to do it everyday. You will feel like a superhero when you are done with this one!
TEAM SHERMAN:
Sherman has been coming to me for over a year now and he was really the first person to put faith in me as a total stranger and he has stayed committed to his health and fitness and he is having remarkable success. He is Team Sherman because he is a pay it forward kind of guy and for that reason, if anyone wants to come workout with Sherman it will always be free. It is usually a mash up of all the classes and will give you a total body workout every time. All are welcome to join in this workout.
FUNCTIONAL FITNESS:
This class is a mash up of my functional fitness training combined with a little TRX, some Kettlebells, and of course tires and slegdehammers and jump ropes oh my! It is a total body workout that you will be proud to tell everyone you did! This is also a great class to get ready for some of the cool and crazy races out there. This is the class that I will announce any races or runs we will be participating in and we can focus some classes around what the races will entail. This is a 1 hour class. All fitness levels encouraged.
